Radioshack "Store" Commision
I feel like Ira wouldn't give us more money just for funzies. Can someone explain what's going with this? What is his ulterior motive?
Why do I never hear the word ulterior except when used in the above context? I had to actually look the word up. Wtf english language...

Well, if he feels like you aren't trying to sell people on the product, a commission would possibly help motivate you all, which in turn could generate more profits. Essentially, spending money to make money.

I just calculated and it's the pay of less than 4 hours in two weeks (excluding commision...so probably 3 hours) on my paycheck. We already get commission, this is "store" commission. We now make a certain percentage of the overall store sales.
I'm not complaining, I just don't think it makes up for the fact that he'd take off time for breaks we didn't take without telling us.
I was like cool 35 dollars! Then I realized how little it was. All I know is if we got paid more, we'd all try MUCH harder lol.
We're often asked to care about things that only somebody who got paid more would care about. More money = better employees.

It is supposed to work the other way as well though, a good enterprising employee who goes out of their way to do better than average should impress their employer to maybe bump the pay or some wort of benefit. Now I'm not saying this always works, probably more often than not it doesn't but it doesn't hurt to try and be proud of your good work.
